Re-joining the group again

I had a great luck again yesterday. I went to the city centre late afternoon to buy some fruit for late lunch and as I’m trying to figure out what I actually wanted I hear the familiar “Jelo, jelo!!” again. I turn and search the street until my eyes lock on a Tuk-tuk that carries Esther, Stefan, Andy and a new arrival to the group - John (a Dutch doctor). What a coincidence again – they were just returning from the waterfall that we wanted to go to together. I was disappointed a little bit that I didn’t receive the e-mail Stefan apparently sent the evening before to both of my addresses as originally agreed and therefore couldn’t join them today. I was disappointed even more so when they started talking about the waterfall as “the most beautiful place on earth”. I knew that I was going to see it too but I would definitely enjoy it more if it was with this great group.

Little I knew that the next day (today) all decide to go to the waterfall again, including Uschi who could not go yesterday due to some strange virus keeping in bed for the most of the day. She felt much better today so we all went. The only shame is that it was overcast all day. So except of missing on the opportunity to take pictures of the waterfall playing with sunrays it was a great wet day as to get to the most spectacular spot one has to pass almost under the waterfall (after we passed the “Danger, do not enter” sign following Craigs recommendation in Tad Lo - thanks Craig! :-) ).

The Tuk-tuk should cost you about USD 8 as tha is the price the rest negotiated on both occasions. I went on my motorbike this time and after getting on a dirt rocky road I was happy about my decision to do that as I was faster and I bet that at the end of the day also with far less shaken body. This was later confirmed by Uschi who joined me as my pillion passenger for the ride back.

In the evening most of us were visiting the daily colorful evening market.
